Hi guys, i got a problem with my viewty. The front camera seems not working for me. In camera mode i tried to switch to front camera, it just went back to home screen and nothing happen. Anyone can help me?

Nobody has any solution for me?

I am using SanDisk ultra, but 2GB only. 80% used space and still smooth..

You want to copy from old phone to Viewty? If so, you can try following steps:

1. Insert your SIM back to your old phone, then go to "Contact" and find an option "Copy". If can, copy all at once to your SIM.

2. Change your SIM to your new Viewty, then go to menu -> Contacts -> Settings -> Copy -> "USIM to Handset" & "All together"

3. You are done!

Step 1 may be different for different phone. Try something similar to it. Good luck!

Well, i went for Viewty instead of 5800. Maybe because LG is quite unpopular compared to Nokia, SE, Samsung.. I brought my Viewty to working place and watch movie, everyone came and

Not trying to show off, just, I read the articles of MWC 2009 and I decided to switch my interest from Nokia to LG & SE.

i prefer the black and simple 1, only change the wallpaper to something nice.

So far this phone is working well for me. The only thing I not satisfy is the camera performance. I don't know why the photos I took were quite blur. I saw some others photos taken with Viewty were clear, not like mine.

Oh ya, now got some dust get into my screen, anyone face that too? Means I can see the dust but unable to wipe it off (it was below the surface).

I tried with different ISO, white balance, anti shake on/off, but still not satisfy with the result. Maybe I upload some photos later, if I free.

Maybe your screen got problem already. You always put your phone inside pocket or tight jeans? Pressure on screen will damage it woh..

Does anyone has older firmware? V10a or V10b.. Mine currently V10e and the photos taken were blurry..

Nope, I've done lots of different settings and still the same result. I searched a lot forums and found that my firmware version has bad photo quality. That's why I'm looking for v10a or v10b.


I don't think there's anything new la, maybe some slight improvements of menu scrolling. But the photo quality really make me headache, when focused the image very nice, once shutter pressed, the saved image become blur. I thought it's my handshake, so I try putting on table, also same.

To take night photo, you can set ISO to Auto or 400/800. Set flash to Auto, mode to Night. Since the flash is strobe flash, not xenon, so the power of the light won't reach too far. I think around 2m or 3m only.
