QUOTE(Quadstar @ Dec 3 2007, 04:31 AM) I'm in Australia. Got the phone from HK with chinese support ( a bit less than RM1900) Qudstar, which means the SMS storage to memory card is up top 200 messages, only?If the promotional offering is true LG KU990 + Canon printer, you guys are getting very good deal. Added on December 3, 2007, 4:42 amupdated first impression after about two weeks of using the phone: my main 2 gripes when I received the phone: - no lens cover - sms memory storage up to 200 texts only I found out the martin fields screen protector offer protection on lens and main screen, that is a good news (guys, maybe we can organise a bulk buy?) SMS inbox messages can be directly saved to memory card, that is a relieved too |

QUOTE(eye @ Dec 3 2007, 03:01 PM) ok i have checked through the past posts and called that ken chap. he's based at sunway ... it seems that the canon printer is for the first 200 purchasers only .. after that, no more printer, only free 1GB mem card. i wish the price would be cheaper if without the free printer |

QUOTE(eye @ Dec 3 2007, 03:46 PM) yes agreed, a fair price, i think, wud be in the region of rm1800, without the printer. i guess if one is prepared to wait, it shud be selling around that price. yah price i am willing to pay for this baby is around RM 1.8k+/-Added on December 3, 2007, 3:49 pmjust read from mobile88, it seems to suggest that the RRP be RM1,850. early adopters instead of being rewarded by the principals, always kenar'ed paying the premium one ... haiyaaaaa which i think is a fair price for it QUOTE(carpathia @ Dec 3 2007, 04:08 PM) you may refer jupitanz's reply, try check out sunway pyramidor you may call KEN (his cell phone numbers is posted in the previous page), you may call up and ask him which branch has the free printer promo |

QUOTE(munky @ Dec 3 2007, 05:03 PM) so far the advantages that n95 has over this phone is wifi and gps. Other than that im not sure. One thing that i dont like bout n95 is its thickness the Viewty comes with a Gmap (Google Maps) application and yahlor, Viewty should complete with WIFI, wasted the nice & big screen only p/s: i dun like N95 thickness either |

QUOTE(eye @ Dec 3 2007, 05:26 PM) the n95 is a good phone. @eyehowever i wud consider the ku990 over the n95 due to the following reasons : preference for a touch phone with big screen. the first choice wud be the iphone. however the iphone does not have 3G. It is not officially launched and supported here in this part of the world. maxis has problem with iphone. moreover, it is way overpriced in the local market. the wifi feature wud be nice, but i prefer 3g due to freedom and mobility. fyi, iphone is working on maxis now but currently there is a shortage of iphone as - in U.S APPLE store, one customer is allow to buy 2 set of iphone only (imagine those seller who buying in bulk & re-sell to the asian countries would have difficulty to do business) - seems like currently the new batch of iphone is locked - price of iphone surge as stocks are limited (previously was around 2.2k, and now the price go up as high as 2.6k per set) i still like Viewty more than the iPhone |
