hi everybody smile.gif i'm newbie in photography, it's just become my hobby 5 months ago. Now i wanna introduce all of my favorite shots by Canon powershot S3 IS. May consider upgrade to DSLR system later when both my skill and budget increase sweat.gif
A lot of photos, so just start with 5 images first. C&C are welcomed. thanks smile.gif

The frames on the photos are a bit too outrageous. Too much PP but still can see handshake effects on most of them.

i notice you like to put your subject in the whole frame, study rule of thirds to have better composition.

thanks. yep. it's not photography, just photos only( my wrong words sad.gif ) . It's just my hobbies. i'd like only to show some of my pics. All of pics taken long time ago, maybe next things will be better. smile.gif Below were not edit too much, just increase/decrease contrast and colour smile.gif

#6 The rubbish are distracting.
#7 & #8 are very nicely taken but more emphasis should be put on the flower for #7 and please don't cut away the paw of the cat in #8.

The flash ruined #8.

Dude. Becareful when you're editing the pics. You may attract/add unwanted noise in to your images. I did that mistake for quite alot of times.

You should zoom in more and focus on the flower instead of taking in the rest of the closed ones. Blur the background of the flower but leave some detail so that we know there are other stalks and a fence behind the flower.

#10 & #11 are nice. You should frame the flower in #12 to be a bit lower so that you don't cut off the petal on the top.

thanks. i don't use Photoshop, it's too hard to learn for me ( also slow my lappy ) smile.gif I'm using photoimpact which is a lot easier, faster and simple - just click and see what happend ( although not as strong as Photoshop )
#10 & #12 i retouched quite a lot ( cleared baby hand, changed color & backgound to darkness ), the rest did nothing except increased contrast & decreased brightness. smile.gif
