I am currently learning wordpress that i would like to do some showcase for my product and doing some blogging updates.
No conversion needed on the web.

I came across setting up wordpress org (that i think it is better to learn org than com if i want something more in the future)

I tried to look into exabytes as i want to register for .com.my

but their WP blogger price is quite expensive.





The price different is so huge as for hosting (but i dont know the exact function different here)

I am thinking to

Get domain of .com.my from Exabytes
Then host at hostinger
In this case my cost would be domain price Rm2xx + RM143 (48months hosting)

But i am not sure if this is the correct way to do.

Please help and enlighten me

for small website/blog, you can use cheap and reliable hosting. although for Hostinger, I do recommend at least get the Premium shared hosting plan. But, the cost will be higher, almost similar to Exabytes when you include the domain cost.

So if you plan to host only single WordPress website, I'll recommend the WP blogger or WP Lite package from Exabytes, and get the domain name for free.

The price for premium hostinger is acceptable, just that the free domain comes with is not suitable as i am planning to register .com.my

Just develop locally. Meaning, install a virtual server (machine) in your computer and you can work on it without the Internet even.

It's not that difficult to set up and run. You can check out Laragon (https://laragon.org/). So far it's fast and light compared to Bitnami, XAMPP and others I've tried.

And once you're happy to make the website go online, you can export-import the whole website into your hosting later.

Is there a reason you need to develop your website on an actual host?

Because I am running quite amount of Facebook ads thus was thinking to set up a website meanwhile can collect pixel for retargeting

You'll be given a cPanel account which you can easily install a wordpress or any other Content Management System of your choice.
It should be very similar with any other wordpress hosting.

Yup. I've not used them for any projects, only for testing - speed ain't bad.

I can't say much for support since I hadn't hang around long enough to run into anything.

No money no gain. I buy my domain 5 years back and keep learning wordpress and research.

Just few week I start to make my site working after pay for nothing this previous year.

My experience: money + time = thing done
