Hi there everyone,

I'm on the look out for a compact camera with RM1000 as my budget.

The problem is, I've been using the "old" film based camera all these while so when it comes to digital cameras, well I'm totally lost.

I must admit I'm not an expert in meddling with a camera, I'm more of a point-and-shoot kinda user, but a camera with nice to have functions is certainly welcomed just in case I suddenly plan to be the next Ansel Adams or Steve McCurry (Afghan girl)

Can anyone just point me on the right path where I can start my digital camera adventure?

About those similar topics, I'm not sure there's a specific topic for compact cameras with sub RM1k price right? A compact camera can cost a lot than RM1k too...
