I'm planning on buying a camera from Ebay costing about RM 500+ which includes shipping. Will the camera be taxed once it arrives in customs?

it should be taxed..but sometimes it depends on luck..
i bought my a used mirrorless camera three month ago from amazon using a outside forwarder. my parcel was never held by the custom..smooth sailing |

It depends on ur luck. By right shd be taxed, but last time I bought an M43 body from US eBay store, arrived to my hse no problem, didn't even kena contact by kastam
