As the title mentioned, I'm looking for 27" IPS 1440p IPS panel, and I'm eyeing Acer VG271UP right now. Is it a good buy? My budget can be go till RM1.8k, initially I was planned to buy LG 27GL850, but no stock already. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/MY/content/model/UM.HV1SM.P02Apart from Acer one, any other recommendation? Thanks!

You're using nvidia? I guess you need to change the color settings using your graphic setting software This post has been edited by HerbalTea: Dec 8 2019, 07:29 PM

Your macbook might struggle if you're planning to play games at 1440p. On the bright side you're future proofing yourself incase one day you decide to hook this monitor to a gaming pc/console

Thanks for the input. Currently searching for best for buck 1440p 144hz freesync monitor. This monitor seems to be at high value for it's price compared to others as it is really hard to find 1440p 144hz monitor at this price range. The common pricing seems to be around RM1700+ aside from TUF monitor that goes for around 1500+ I believe

I heard 5700 XT got overheat problem (my fren who is running PC shop) Hence I will go RTX 2070 super instead Playing single player games like Witcher, Borderlands 3. Plan to play Fallen Order after finish the first two. Which I dunno when, provided no time to play but itch buy these upgrades haha

Even tech news implied that but on the reference blower type unit. Blower type is bad in general for common PC case and above mid range card.

I found two problems: - No 10 bit color option (Even changed the refresh rate to 120 or 60 - No FreeSync setting Troubleshoot here and thre but fail

Change this in Nvidia control panel under resolution section. - Gsync (compatible) settings will only show up in Nvidia control panel if you are on displayport and after enabled freesync in monitor gaming section settings. U can enable on screen fps counter in monitor settings to see if it is working. For gaming, just go 144hz 8bit as not much game will benefit from it yet. For creative work then it is worth to change to 10bit This post has been edited by pluginbaby: Jan 30 2020, 09:43 AM
