I have been learning and testing the financial markets : malaysia stocks, crypto and fx since Oct 2020. Finally settling with FX due to:

1) High liquidity (a lot of movement).

2) Open 24 hours on weekdays (ie. Japan/Australia, Europe/UK and US market trading session.

3) Real time information on 1H timeframe on trading view.


Attached is my real account trading journal since Mid September 2021 (total of 83 trades) so far until last friday.

Only use 1 strategy. info like risk to reward and % risk as per the schedule.

to add on why FX:
28 pairs to choose. Crypto only 3-4 high volatility and movement- btc, eth, xrp, ltc.

also fx can long and short cause there is a limit of how much a fx can go up or down. btc.... should up upwards only (100k target?😄).

not really... crypto got a lot more... can long and short too... but is a very different game that I like very much...

anyways... trade the ones that give you reliability and consistency... don't just look at volatility and big wins...

you also trading a lot of pairs but ok lah starting out and testing water... your pairings also all over the place.. hahaha... the pros trade very few... some ppl whole life trade only eurusd for example...

Crypto there’s is more than 10 with high volumes and movements just that the major eyeballs only 4 and you can buy long and short and even through ETFs and trust

Forex is aiming 15-20% per month

Crypto small leverage, not so easy get MC compare to forex. So short term return is small, but long term is target huge return.

Can't compare such way. Depends on lvl of comfort. Some ok with stocks, some with bond etc. Just go with what suit you the most.

On crypto are you confident consistently year on year to gain 2000% and the answer is no because this past year only fluke

My fren bought ADA at 4c, now more than $2. Im not so darinf like him..

actually crypto very easy to get liquidated also... whilst lev is only up to 125x at crypto exchanges... volatility is extremely high, more than 10 times that of fx... there is also frequent coordinated liquidation events to shake out noobs and high lev ppl

anyways... i have a simple view... make hay while the sun shines... as traders we must be flexible and trade whatever that gives us reliable profit

btc is currently undergoing its 3rd parabolic expansion... no other asset/instrument has ever done this...it might be its last hurrah... but who cares... trade it all the way up... and trade it all the way down...

Crypto much higher risk.. volatility way too high.. my fren managed to get eth at $150. Crypto is play long term.. really so called investment..

you said not easy to get MC earlier...which implies low risk...
