thx sifu rory for nice pic... didn't know this was effective for haruan.. so far my r2s RM0.35 s.p (somemore share share buy with KJYAN one...) has been quite effective.. just cannot hook the barger...

sifu rory, i use both... when using froggy, the fella i think cannot telan the thing cos too big, my weedless hook coming out of the froggy buntut wan... so, if it strike the leg, sure kena wan... but everytime the fella striking from the side... but got last time got kena 1 time b4 la....

yea.. sifu rory... i've been using that type of weedless hook for my froggy lar.. i shown u before mah... but my one is wire through the froggy, and the weedless hook is danggling like a tail wan la... later see if i can take a pic and show u.. the second pic very canggih leh, how to DIY?

sometimes use this (with worm hook) with the hook point inserted into the froggy for weedless, found not so effective and spoil the froggy very fast..


This is wat u recommending me rite? but the weedless wire part very hard to go down (red arrow) as it's pressing against the back of the froggy.

actually problem not so much on pressing down, more like the point is pushing down on the froggy back like this photo...

- put cacat frog: no take...

- change to r2s super grub! 1st take! wait... wait.. for second bubble... after 5 seconds still no bubble... then suddenly that fella jump outa the water want to do "jumping spit hook" but too bad the fella like eating the super grub so much... hook already set, become "jumping set hook"!! landed... but very the small la...less than 6" i think.. so i malas take photo fast fast unhook and release (cos hook kena near eye liao, lucky my hook already debarb)

- getting confident now... cast few more times... second take! wait wait again... but this fella swim far far into the weeds by the banks .. then i strike... knn.. kena 1 whole bunch of bush... then shake of the bushy bushy stuff... the fella still hooked on...

sifu kj... my one quantity your one quality lor... the dentos tail bulat bulat wan replace with the R2S grub punya tail lar... similar wat... and i think it's pretty effective and the tail sways very sexy wan...

yea... undestand also... but i think haruan quite though la... last time i bought some home for my dad(after operation) want to sembelih the fella also very hard to die wan... but that one quite big lar about 700g but looks bigger then KJ wan.. dunno y, maybe buy one all no muscle mass wan...

but one time follow sifu rory go hunt for haruan, the kucimiao(3-4inch niah) swallow the whole mazzy, after unhook the fella very fast die liao although put in net and in water... maybe cos too small, anibody not strong enuff... kekek....


one thing about the r2s grub is the bulat bulat thing i dun think got steel ball inside lar (dentos got right?) but should be sufficient la since the grub also very cheap niah, last time me and kj buy wan only RM0.35 per grub niah... cheaper than i import from US wan knn...

sifu Daddy, yellow one only thing is colour will fade lor, sifu tetek will know cos his reel become gold colour liao... as for the green one i also dunno will fade or not... but so far i think stren still the best braided line ( and most expensive ) been using the 14lb one for some time still in good condition.

but been using the colour colour line 30lb (galais/ygk X4) one for haruan hunting.. so far i find that line quite good la... since kena some underwater structure like kayu and all... still ok lar the line... bought that for about RM95 for 300m last time... cheaper than stren lo...

which reminds me, that day got 3 strikes when using the Big big surecatch frog... i wait long long.... about 8- 10 seconds still no second bubble... then i strike! takde kena la... pull back a lot of twigs and underwater structures la... (maybe the structures preventing my line from setting the hook?? )

sifus.. any advise ar? ... i think next round i wait 2 seconds then strike liao see how??
