well, not being serious, but based on the series, Agen Ali definitely applies for a more serious tone of the plot.
Well, mamak restaurant and indian restaurant are completely different theme.
do you see indian restaurant selling beef?
Probably not. But whats the issue with the mamak in Ejen Ali singing and dancing tamil themed songs and fighting scenes?
Mamak=Indian Muslims. And originally they hail from India. Heck their workers are mostly from there still.
Got a friend who is mamak. Used to study together. So when we do assignments, sometimes we do at his place(sleep over). His family owns a few mamak stalls. And his workers stay at his place as well. They all speak tamil all the time between themselves. Watch tv pon tamil. Gotta ask him for that carrot dish I once eat at his place. Gooding man.
Just watched 2nd time with the family. Not once felt bored. Good pacing and story. Engaging from start till the end. Really like how they flow the stories together(flashback and his mom/org jahat). Much better than Boboiboy 2 IMO, where some parts felt a bit meh(still good overall). The movements in the fighting scenes gooding.
Songs also catchy. Otw balik rumah, and while waiting for the wife to print something (one whole hour), youtube the songs and trailers in the car. Hoping we don't have to wait so long for the sequels whether in tbe form of movies/tv series. Or better yet our local film scene can get to a high enough level to produce live action of it. One can dream..
I really dont't watch much Malay movies, but this year really gooding.
Ejen Ali, Paskal
Boboiboy the movie 2, Hantu Kak Limah
Upin Ipin
