Wii Fit is an exercise equipment and there are a few games in the disc that help you do that. Such as skiing, heading footballs, etc. It also allows you to put together an exercise regime to do workouts and measures your progress. You can do push-ups, aerobics and jogging on the spot. Also got yoga but that one tidak halal anymore.
Personally, I find that it works but only if you are disciplined enough to stick to the exercise.
