been thinking about it for awhile but lazy to post, but with the lockdown, there's free time. it's weird that epay tnb still has not been restored, since its even printed at the back of tnb bills stating that epay as a payment channel.

Hold up..

Quote elinking :
If the amount is less than or equal to RM50, we'll charge a transaction fee of RM1;
If the amount is more than RM50, we'll charge a 2% transaction fee for the amount

Is this true? Regardless of app credit or online payment mentioned earlier?

regarding elinking, how long will the payment be reflected in tnb?
*
i tried for tnb today..checked an hour later, already reflected. not bad.

anyway, downside so far i can think of is the fixed top up amounts, and paying bills at a rounded up amount. meaning, most likely there will always be some balance in elinking. also the minimum rm30 and max rm2000 for tnb. i may be wrong, just my first day using it.

for e linking, when i choose to pay my TNB bill, it said i will be charged RM 1 transaction fees, how to avoid that fees? is it i need to top up at app credit first and then go to pay my TNB and i won't be charged the RM 1 fees? thanks

Hi everyone here.

Thanks for suggesting the Elinking. Just used it today and it reflected in myTNB account within 15~20 minutes. And yes the downside is really the topup amount.

Still wondering why la TNB didnt broaden their payment channel. Previously able to pay with e-pay but now cannot anymore doh.gif

did you get a payment receipt for the tnb bill you paid?

after joined eliking and playing around 2 days ,
I summarized the strategy below :
1. must login daily to earn 1 lucky draw . I got RM0.80 voucher for 2 days
2. Add minium RM20 to gain another lucky draw.  Do once only , more dun have extra spin.
3. Pay mininum RM30 TNB (i havent start yet, will start in May)
4. Above#3, spread out TNB bill. Eg RM240 TNB,  split RM30X8 to pay using the 80sen voucher.
that;s all i have.
pLEASE help to edit if i missed anything . Thank you

Weird, initially I thought that was it, but I've not had any vouchers for awhile now. Did the RM 30 thing for 2 accounts today. 🤔 Hmmm..

Anyway, I found this after clicking around for awhile. Didn't bother to read. Maybe it applies, maybe not.

*edit : Found the "Daily Rewards" thing. Previously it was a pop-up, so I never knew that icon was ever there. My mistake.

Yes, confirm - For TNB payment

Use APP credit - RM0.50 per transaction

Use other payment method
- less than RM50, fixed fee of RM1 per transaction
- more than RM50, 2% of the transaction amount
Yes. I tried before.

Damn, I just paid this morning, and there was still no fee. BTW, how to use up all the app credit when they do not allow decimals in the payments?

Huh.. Seems legit.. System glitch again?
Damn, I just finished paying days of fees.

Also, anyone tried and verified that "Electricity Bill" really links to TNB?
