Package Content & Design
Spunky Beat comes well protected. Once taken out the earphones and charging case, there are another 2 pairs of silicon eartips, USB-C charging cable, warranty card and user manual in multiple languages.

Spunky Beat build quality is decent thanks to sturdy plastic housing. Glossy outside and matte inside. Ultra-compact and light in weight. There are touch-able multi-function button, round LED light indicator and microphone on top of it.

Here are the included eartips. Just pick the one that matches you.

A compact charging plastic case with built-in USB-A cable. You still can charge it even when you forgot to bring USB-C cable out. And there is USB-C port to charge as well. A nice touch if the built-in cable is broken.

Fit, Comfort & Isolation
Beat fits very well even with shorter nozzle. Comfortable for long hour wearing. Thanks to round and smooth body no doubt. I can get perfect seal with M size ear tips. Just pick the one that suit you will do. Yes, it stays securely while exercising and jogging. No worry about dropping it at all since it's so light. In addition, IPX5 splash-proof works well against sweat, splashes and rain. Lastly, it has great noise isolation. Yes, it can block some of the environment noises while music is being playback.

Performance Result
Excellent Bluetooth range for true wireless earphones. Yes, Spunky Beat can go up to 7m+ with obstacles like walls. Connection is very stable. Furthermore, AAC and aptX audio codecs are supported and have lower latency than the usual SBC codec. Audio and video are virtually in-sync that great for movie, games and so on. By the way, you can use Spunky Beat as stereo or mono as you wish.

Based on specs, you can enjoy up to 7 hours of music playback. Up to 24 hours of listening with the charging case. Surely more than enough for your daily sport activities. In addition, there is battery indicator status on iOS and Android devices as well. Great to know when to charge it.

Clear phone call thanks to Qualcomm’s cVc 8.0 Microphone Noise Cancelling. It will suppress noise during a call and reduce echo feedback. In addition, the microphone performance is great as well. Others can hear me loud and clear.

Sound Quality
Tronsmart Spunky Beat sounds great for the price. Period. As for sound signature, it is balanced with slightly toward warm. Yup, that's mean you are getting extra bass than treble when Beat securely fit into your ears. Highs are clean with no harshness at all. As for mids, vocals sound natural in both male and female. Bass is deep and powerful. But no worry, it is well in control and not overdone. Again, soundstage is okay at its price range. Not the best out there nor the worst. Instruments placement separation is clear even in the complex scene.

Advantages
  • Clean treble with powerful bass
  • aptX and AAC support
  • Wide Bluetooth range
  • Excellent microphone
  • Long battery life
  • Comfortable for long hour wear
  • IPX5 splash-proof

Limitations
  • For the price, nope

Conclusion
Sound great for the price. Comes with extra bass too. Wide Bluetooth range, great phone call quality and long battery life. In short, you can't go wrong with Tronsmart Spunky Beat as your first true Wireless earbuds.

May I know if the lights blink blue every few seconds when listening to music? Some people say they do but then there are others who say they don't.
