Guys anyone grab the 140th anniversary SPB207J1? I cancelled my order for SPB103J1 after looking at the SPB207J1. I'm new to Seiko, can advise if the limited editions are worth it? This post has been edited by Jenn77: Sep 13 2021, 07:46 PM fuzzy liked this post

QUOTE(radi0head @ Sep 16 2021, 02:59 PM) LE is a marketing gimmick to sell at a higher price point hence making it special and hard to grab... I've made my decision and pulled the trigger on the LE spb207J1. If I were you, you see which you like... no matter LE or not and if you really likes it, buy it... Buy what you likes and not what other people thinks that it is LE, Special Editions or etc... |

The new prospex diver GMT black & green is nice. The limited edition blue also not bad, but the colors difficult to match daily office wear. Both available at Seiko MV.

QUOTE(K0MR4DE @ Mar 25 2024, 11:04 AM) I have extensively research about this watch before I bought it. Previously bought Seiko SNK809 automatic field watch but not a fan to set the time every 3-5 days. I owned a Rangeman, so far pretty happy with the reliability of quartz movements and solar capabilities (before the multiband 6 crapped out). I have the same Arnie. Lovely. Hence, I decided to go with Seiko SNJ025, famously known as The Arnie. Solar capabilities, utilitarian with dual timezone including a stopwatch , a diver bezel, and alarm. So, I will rotate my Rangeman with this watch and use the SNK809 as a semi-formal watch since I already replaced the nylon with a leather strap. ![]() K0MR4DE liked this post
