Choose option 1, at least something happen within that warranty, you can still claim. For oil and filter, you can usually buy outside and just ask them to change it for you, which is cheaper. Don't know about Perodua but Proton SC I do that.
Second, always service according to the recommendation if you want to keep your car in good shape, as it is called preventive maintenance, not wait until everything kaput then you spend a lot to repair. Just my humble opinion, but it's your car, so you decide which is best fit to you.
