Maybe he was given one big lump sum of money to start biz.

I was told by my grandfather when one of his relatives who were member of PKM surrendered voluntarily in the 1950's, our government gave him some money to start a biz. He ended up open a kopitiam. My grandfather always tell this story as he hated this relative as he always extorted money from him when he was a PKM member. Always say government should just let him starve. biggrin.gif
