I have done some research and come down to this 4 choices. Due to high commitment, I can't consider cars that are price above the 4 which I have stated. Do provide your thought or overview. Also much appreciate comments from actual owners from the 4 choice mentioned above. Thanks.

Proton Exora wins hands down.

Pros:
- Largest interior space among other choices
- Largest third row seats (suitable for adults up to 1.7m tall
- Flexible and largest cargo area
- Better to drive/stable and more powerful than the other choices

Cons:
- Its an MPV.

if u plan to do highway drive or hill climb
stay away from the 2 perodua
drove the alza, it's the worst MPV i ever drove
never driven the aruz before but based on spec, it should be the most underpower SUV in malaysia right now

Proton Exora , factor to consider the turbo engine. Expect higher maintenance costs in the long run if turbo leaked after the warranty period.

Perodua Aruz - The conventional natural aspirated engine. Can expects longer reliability. There are some issue with fuel pump for selected batches. Latest batch should be fine. Aruz is good vehicle to get you from A to B.

Go for the model with ESC either model.

My choice would be ER3 because it's EEV vehicle and fuel consumption seemingly better than saga. It's also very spacious and the 3 Rd row is comfortable to seat adults. Only downside is we don't know if it will be discontinued or not. Else it's a great buy.

Buy new?

Get the exora high spec with electronic stability control
Maintenance cost if something break is pricer than your other options like.
So, first 5 years dont break your warranty

I used exora cfe for 7 years...its the best, fit my family of 6 easily + luggage

what about the FC for Exora??

Don't expect Exora has Myvi-like FC, because it is the only C-segment MPV below RM100k and Campro Turbo is not built for economic run.
My 2014 Preve CFE has slightly better FC than my wife's 2017 Exora Turbo although they share the same engine and CVT, as it's MPV vs sedan, bigger and heavier. City drive FC should be around 10.5L/100km (my Preve CFE is around 9.5L/100km).

I think can eliminate Ertiga. Its consider a good car but my boss told me his father took 3 months waiting to replace his broken side mirror. Suzuki has moved out from Malaysia so i think thats why quite hard to get parts.

FC reasonable with its performance and size its offer. KL/PJ traffic 8-10km/l. Long distance drive 14-15km/l if drive follow the speed limit which you will not because the engine really powerful, overtake also easy no need think twice plus having good visibility due to higher seat position

Definitely higher than alza ertiga sienta brv equivalent

If this mpv is gonna be your weekend family car, dont bother with the FC unless you gonna daily drive it
