Can't wait.
QUOTE Killzone 2 floors Insomniac community manager JStevenson Killzone 2 has floored JStevenson - community manager at Insomniac games. This is what he had to say regarding the game:- "I did indeed beat KZ2 tonight and it is indeed awesome. I know there will be plenty of comments, opinions, accolades and nitpicks, but for me, the game was fun. My favorite part of the game was when you get this certain weapon. I really really love it and I got the trophy for oh so fast - wish it was available more. Anyways --- major props to all the folks at GG. QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Jan 6 2009, 08:00 PM) from the footages, quite possibly the most polished first-person on PS3... I wonder if Killzone 2 vs. Resistance 2, who would win... Actually, Insomniac helped Guerilla to build the AI algorithms of Killzone 2; and like-wise Guerilla help Insomniac with R2 graphic engine on lighting, etc. But, of course, at this point, I think Killzone 2 win hands down. No doubt about it. QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Jan 6 2009, 08:03 PM) should let Ted Price play it Ted Price busy playing LBP. he played and loved GoW,wanna know what he thinks of a rival FPS on the same console |

QUOTE Is Microsoft afraid of Killzone? It seems that Microsoft is terrified by all the hype surrounding Killzone 2 and try in every way to oppose his cards marred the best output. First round When, a month ago during an episode of G4TV, sprang the first rumors on February 17 as the release date for the shooter Sony, Microsoft announced - after just a few hours - the awaited date of DLC exclusive GTA IV and, surprisingly, just for the same day: 17 February 2009. Second round On December 4, however, Sony officially announced that the release date of Killzone2 will be February 27 2009. Microsoft is responding, three days later, postponing Halo Wars (expected by March 3) at ... 26 February 2009. Again. Third round Sony is pressing an agreement with Gamestop to give a demo at the source of the Pre Killzone in U.S. territory. The demo will be made available via a download code that will be sent February 3 via email. Sony January 6 states that, for the European market, the demo of Killzone will be released in the traditional way and presumably a few days later (February 5 is Thursday, the day for traditional updates PSN). They spend only 48 hours and that's Microsoft's response. During the keynote of the CES (Consumer Electronic Show, not as an audience of specialists in the gaming ... but does the media), it confirms the date of release of Halo Wars and announced that February 5 will be released playable demo. Coincidences? Nnnaaaaaah. Sauce: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=i...tml&sl=it&tl=en |

CES 2009: Guerrilla Games Says ‘Killzone 2′ Single-Player Campaign Will Be 10 Hours Long
![]() During the Sony presentation at this year’s CES, Guerrilla Games’ Hermen Hulst was talking about their upcoming AAA title, “Killzone 2.” During the presentation, we got to hear more about things we already knew. The game will feature destructible environments, the camera will mimic the player’s eyes, dynamic music, etc. One piece of information given, though, is something we haven’t officially heard before: “Killzone 2″ will offer most gamers about 10 hours of single-player gameplay. Of course, the number could go up or down depending on factors such as difficulty, your skill level, and whether or not you want to collect all the trophies. 10 hours single-player on average for a game of this nature isn’t bad, though–especially when the multiplayer will last much longer. And for someone who doesn’t have the privilege of hours of free time each day, it’s the perfect length. Sauce: http://www.gamecyte.com/ces-2009-guerilla-...e-10-hours-long |

QUOTE(K-End @ Jan 9 2009, 11:41 AM) i saw some guys said I think no more low-res texture. "take out dynamic lighting & special effect, then Killzone 2 is nothing with the low res texture" well..isnt that the same for ALL the game in the world if we take out their effect? QUOTE I can confirm that Guerilla Games have paid particular attention to criticisms made in the gaming press, such as ground textures, up-close textures when taking cover and the artificial intelligence. Everything has been improved for the final build. Sauce: http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/journalist-...036;1259430.htm |
