Just finished 'bubble party'.
The more times I play the demo the better it gets. For some games it's the opposite, but not this one. Now I'm having good fun. Can't wait for the full game. |

QUOTE(slickz @ Feb 8 2009, 01:16 PM) yeah I like the blur effect a lot! Also I noted each bullet hole glows hot red for a half second after being created. Blood spreads out from dead helghans, with edges of the blood pool darkening to indicate that it's frozen, how the gun angles down before you make a jump, and gravity making your body bounce as you hit the floor again. Little details like this make this game far more realistic than your standard fps. Did you noticed the sound of the bullets change if you're low on ammo (the hollow sound as your clip becomes empty); indicating that you need to reload soon. The new fps king is coming , and only on the ps3. This post has been edited by Ninja: Feb 8 2009, 01:22 PM |

Edge gives KillZone 2 7/10 The latest issue of Edge, number 199 to be precise, has given Guerrilla Game’s nuclear-shooter a rather surprising 7/10. This goes against the grain of the almost perfect scores the game has received so far. Just what gameplay elements the magazine felt was lacking remains to be seen. The full list of review scores in the issue are as follows: * Killzone 2 - 7 * FEAR 2: Project Origin - 8 * Halo Wars - 7 * Race Pro - 8 * House of the Dead: Overkill - 8 * Let’s Tap - 8 * Deadly Creatures - 5 * The Maw - 5 * Lord of the Rings: Conquest - 2 * Tenchu: Stealth Assassins - 6 * Crayon Physics Deluxe - 7 * Flower - 7 * Boing! Docomodake - 7 * Klonoa: Door to Phantomile - 6 Sauce: http://www.vg247.com/2009/02/07/edge-gives-killzone-2-710/ |

QUOTE(K-End @ Feb 8 2009, 01:43 PM) i tried to play without HUD...i still can survive the level. Now i need to tryout the game without HUD AND crosshair. I bet it'll be hectic playing this game with MDR-7000 and now my ears hurts(in a good way) QUOTE(slickz @ Feb 8 2009, 01:45 PM) honto deska? sughooiii!! Yeah, No HUD, no crosshair; it helps the immersion even more. I never knew that, I thought the bullets sounded different at certain points but I never realized it's because the bullets in the magazine were nearing to empty. I played the demo another 2-3 times afterwards on my family's 32 inch lcd tv. No crosshair, no HUD. NOTHING. And it felt gooood! Anyway, anyone got the M14 rifle at the warehouse? The Helghan at the top of the building in the warehouse has it, wait for him to get close to the edge, then shoot him down, with some luck, he'll drop his gun right below where you can pick it up. |

From PlayStation.Blog:
Hi everyone! It’s Victor Zuylen from Killzone.com here. With Killzone 2 receiving lots of positive attention from the press, I figured now would be a good time to give you a taste of the bonus content which can be unlocked on Killzone.com through the game. After you’ve uncovered a piece of Helghast intel in Killzone 2’s single player campaign, you can connect to Killzone.com to claim a special reward. These unlockable rewards come in various shapes and sizes – some are simply printable versions of the propaganda posters you see in-game, others contain details on the wildlife of the Maelstra Barrens or pages from a Helghast soldier’s secret journal. Example 1 Example 2 (Please note: you will need Adobe Reader to view these documents.) If you’re good enough, you can even unlock and download physical objects from the Killzone universe. “That’s impossible,” I hear you cry at your monitor, “You can’t to download physical objects through the Internet – let alone objects from a fictional universe.” Ah, but then you’ve obviously never witnessed the venerable art of papercraft: ![]() Well, that’s enough spoilers from me. Stay tuned to PlayStation.Blog and Killzone.com, because we’ll be talking about other ways in which the game and the website interact soon!
