QUOTE(mushigen @ Sep 30 2021, 09:33 AM) Good news for you. In my case, after my bank account has been verified, I'm allowed to update to another bank by clicking "kemas kini" » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Hi, I saw several posts about bank account verifications - when does the verification request appear? I just logged in via the website and didn't see any verification messages - does this only apply for new unit purchases?

QUOTE(TOS @ Dec 25 2021, 10:32 AM) Thanks for sharing, looks like even now it’s still heavily focused in local investments. “ To date, its overseas investment constitutes 16% of its portfolio, while the remaining 84% is invested in the local market.”

Plan to dispose my ASM2 holdings this month and reduce ASM3 next month, moving to international stocks. I’m better informed now on equity markets and can take on more risks given my age group.
Had good memories with ASNB returns about 5 years ago with 6% interest, for non-bumis that’s incredible.
Now those days are gone lol LoTek, TOS, and 2 others liked this post

Hi all If I buy ASM1/2/3 units from someone else, say halfway through the dividend cycle, will I receive prorated dividend?
The moment units are transferred the dividend is "reset" right?
What I mean is, regardless whether you buy units from ASNB or transfer from someone else, the dividend is always prorated based on how long you hold the unit?

Hi all For selling@redeeming units - you can sell at any agent including banks eg Maybank, and based on ASNB website transaction fee is RM1. However for agent banks - must you have an account at the bank for this to work? (e.g. if I only have a Maybank account, I can’t go to a CIMB branch and ask them to help me do a ASNB unit redemption) ? https://www.asnb.com.my/asnbv2_5faq_EN.php

Tried redeeming units at a tiger bank branch today - was told that “system is down” and without any indication on when it’ll be back online.
Seems that they were not particularly bothered about this issue and I’m guessing it’s because it’s not a revenue source.
Is this a common occurrence (not being able to perform transactions at ASNB agent banks because of system issues)?
