Hi, Would like to check about withdrawal from ASN. Haven't try withdrawal before.
If I request for withdrawal from ASM to my MBB account, is the money credit into the account immediately or have to wait for several days? Is there any extra charges for withdrawal?

Counter at bank is immediate.

Example last month i withdrew RM10k from my ASM at HLB counter and monies immediately credited.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I intend to make the withdrawal over MBB counter instead of MyANSB. So, it is credited immediately, right? Any charges for withdrawal?

Hi, I have a remaja account (ASM) for my daughter and she is reaching 18 early next year. Can I still keep the account as Remaja or I have to transfer the ownership to my daughter? If I want to transfer the ownership, Can I do it at Maybank? Is it troublesome to do so?

It's automatic transferred to adult account...

Your daughter account number is the latest one right?? The passbookless type?

I know because I'm also graduated from akaun remaja / kanak2 😁

Holding since school days 💪

The account was opened about 13 years ago. Initially, there was passbook and later change to book-less. As you mentioned it is auto transfer - Doesn't she needs to register her signatory or scan her Mykad or something at the bank. If she wants to withdraw in the future, how to do without these?

When open last time...
Using IC or birth certificate??

If uses IC... Then should be non issues... Birth certificate then got some issues...

Want to withdraw later... The staff would update on the spot....

Even adult account need to update time to time...
Especially phone number, house address etc.

ASNB system always ask first before can proceed to withdraw... I faced this issues when want to withdraw... Few pages of A4 document to signed & thumbprint scan.... The funny part... They system ask this even I previously already updated all the details few years back...

Safe side...
Go to ASNB or banks update IC number, Email & HP numbers too..
So can use MyASNB services later on... No headache later 😔

Birth cert was used at that time. Anyway, I will go to the bank to get it done. Thank you for the advice

Hi, I would like to buy some using app or at MyANSB but it is my first time. So before I proceed, I would like to get some advice from the experts here

1. Recommended to use App or MyANSB Website
2. Can do it anytime, right? I read some suggested to do it on the 1st of the month at 2am or something
3. If there is no unit available, the App or web will show it so that I can cancel the transaction, right?
4. If successful, will the money debited to ASM account immediately or it will take some time to reflect in the account
5. Anything else I should know

Thanks

I think PA is worth it if your beneficiaries r not investing savvy cos they will get units instead of cash. Without PA any delay of 3 months without interest already cost more than the fees (based on 1% fee on 250k, 0.8% on 500k, 0.5% on 1m). And if  know your time is numbered and not sudden death can always transfer the units to reduce the fees.

Hi, You said the beneficiary will get unit instead of cash. If let's say, You mean they will get 100K of unit (let's say I have RM100K balance), then they can sell them immediately to get cash, am I right?
