QUOTE(wild_card_my @ Jun 9 2020, 03:46 PM) Yes man, I do not want to call everyone who can invest in ASB1, ASB2, and ASB3 as Bumiputra as some people can be sensitive about it Possible to create 1 holding company and buy ASB? "I am not a Bumiputra, I am a Chinese who converted to Islam" <---- this guy can open ASB1, 2, and 3 accounts, but he is not a Bumiputra perse Senang cakap la, the ASBF uses ASB1 and ASB2 as the collateral, so if you cannot open ASB1 or ASB2, you won't be able to get financing for it Shareholder will be bumi and non bumi |

QUOTE(DarkknightDK @ Jun 10 2020, 02:21 PM) Hi all, I bought from @feeho ASM units yesterday (We meetup for our very first trade/sale) & today (Via online banking & transfers). Trustable & reliable seller from the process. Also gave me some Useful tips (Since I newbie in this thing) during our meeting. Commission wise is quite fair from his end so I recommend anyone getting units from him (Once available). Thanks bro for the sale! +rep How much u buy? |

QUOTE(DarkknightDK @ Jun 10 2020, 04:40 PM) Total 30k units from him...thou his commission he wanted some units back so paid him instead with units than cash...Other that that seamless and smooth transaction dealing with him. PS: As general rule, I as buyer went first so it depends on whether you both got mutual trust factor then. Be careful because PNB will flag the account as there always have suspicious transaction frm feeho acc to multiple accounts |

QUOTE(TOS @ Jun 16 2020, 10:11 AM) At this point, let me share something with everyone here. I hope you will find this book useful. What is the credibility of the writer? ![]() I came across the book from this website: https://b-ok.asia/book/3396470/5e0660 It is a free ebook. I have downloaded and scanned it with Virus Total, confirmed safe. A thrilling read. Here's an excerpt that you find interesting. Appendix 2.1: History of GLIC-Linked Controversies All the GLICs have been involved in national controversies, including asset-shifting between them, bailouts of well-connected companies, loan or investment provisions to government-related assets considered substandard, as well as allegations of abuse of funds for vested interests. This non-exhaustive table lists notable controversies involving the GLICs in Malaysian history. MOF Inc. ![]() PNB ![]() Khazanah Nasional ![]() EPF (yes, even this credible entity has scandals linked to it) ![]() EPF (continued) and LTAT ![]() LTAT continued and LTH (Tabung Haji) ![]() LTH continued and KWAP ![]() KWAP continued ![]() 8 pages list of scandals. Read further into Prof. Gomez's report and you fill out that 8 entities control about 50% of KLSE's market cap: MOF Inc., EPF, PNB, KWAP, LTH, LTAT, Khazanah Nasional collectively control about 42% of KLSE as of around 2015, when the report was published. JP Morgan, through its associates/holding companies, control another 10-15%. There're reasons to be feared. Kudos to IDEAS, Prof. Gomez and his team for the reports and insights. |

QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Jul 1 2020, 12:57 PM) greed itself is subjective actually. just like is asking for salary increment = greed? food for thoughts. I can show u the email from ASN say to report those activity to them as its illegalwrong thinking, u should be asking PNB, is it legal to transfer units from one person to another random person? how and what others wanna do is another matter. and of course, those who got scammed, unfortunate for them for not thinking it through. u can try email them and see yes transfer is legal but transfer + 1% fee to earn is ilegal u can see the different |
