i bought until i thought my money ran out on monday. then i dumb dumb stayed quiet on tuesday. on wednesday, my hands got itchy and started digging around in all my bank accounts. God bless me and i found almost rm3k. i bought asnb with it and stayed quiet until now. just came back from withdrawing matured fd and making placement for more fd at mbsb bank. kept some cash to try buying more asnb too.

The ACTUAL NAV/unit is not known, because we do not know the number of units outstanding (in circulation). So when they give our distributions, the NAV drops, but price remains RM1/unit; however, the actual NAV/unit may be ABOVE or BELOW the selling price of RM1/unit

they have exemption from SC not to disclose their balance sheet. to cut the explanation really short, if ASNB wasn't backed by the government, extremely risky to put money in.

Who guarantees it? What are the details of the guarantee? Is there a limit on the guarantee?

ASNB actually have very few funds compared to, say, Public Mutual. They have like what? 80+ funds last I checked.

Problem is that the 180B NAV they have is parked mainly in Malaysia

Also the new CEO is young, is he being manipulated by the Chairman, and in turn, by Tun by proxy? I don't know, just putting it out there.

Does the govt guarantees for KWAP & TH? When in trouble, the govt still comes in to rescue them. Hopefully ASx get the same treatment when the need arise.

I know of TH, but what about KWAP? I know it's being discussed in the courts now, which is why i couldn't bother. Prefer to wait till it blows over
