is it 5% flat?
or 4.25% for all and 0.75% for first 30k only?
I cannot find any clear statement on this, asb just posted like this in their FB Page...

QUOTE(coolguy_0925 @ Dec 23 2021, 11:51 AM) MattSally Buddy guess you're happy with the announcement now Yes. 5% with 0 bonus would have been better than 4.25% with 0.75% bonus but, comparing the base 4.25% with last year's base 3.5% means a 0.75% 'improvement' in fund performance. If that is passed on to the ASM funds this year (plus continued recovery of the funds over time) then I think at least 4.75% and maybe 5% for the ASM funds is likely.Hopefully ASM will get something higher than 4.25% I am cautiously optimistic now. |

For those who can understand Mandarin, a little comment on the part where they mention the PNB 118 tower is fully funded by "internal resources". I think that is not true as PNB's latest annual report (2021) for ASM 2 *shows that PNB Merdeka Ventures bonds (which is the "internal resources") account for 1.77% of total fund NAV. *(You need to email them for the full list of holdings, they just show top 20 in their published AR) This post has been edited by TOS: Dec 23 2021, 07:22 PM |

QUOTE(MUM @ Dec 23 2021, 11:22 PM) just read this i think it relates to your post Thanks. ASNB didn't show the exact name of the bonds, only the issuer/company in the full detailed list they sent to me. Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB)’s Merdeka 118 tower is 100% owned by the fund via its wholly-owned subsidiary PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd and the mega project is not funded by the Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) unitholders, according to PNB president and group chief executive Ahmad Zulqarnain Onn. After all, what other fixed income securities could PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn. Bhd. be issuing? The tower isn't finished. This is clearly an infrastructure bond. And our money is in it. For your info, "PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn. Bhd." has appeared in ASM1's 2021 AR accounting for 1.4% of NAV (the highest of all FI portion, even higher than MGS/GII holdings). ![]() And they appear in ASM3's 2020 AR. ![]() *Both are from screenshots of detailed list upon email request, not shown directly in the AR. So it's clearly not a new investment. This post has been edited by TOS: Dec 23 2021, 11:44 PM |

Hi, want to ask here. Anyone here got face the problem of "The transaction was declined due to insufficient units available. Please try again later (068)"?
This is ASB2, not ASM1,2,3 or ASB1. This post has been edited by junclj: Dec 24 2021, 07:24 AM |

Boss, you'll need to wait until the units are available as it is limited. ASB2 is not like ASB1 which has unlimited fund. This is ASB2, not ASM1,2,3 or ASB1. |

This is ASB2, not ASM1,2,3 or ASB1. ASB 2 is full... U think like ASB 1 huh.. Unlimited ammo until 200k 😬 U got more chance in ASM 2 / 3 Bumi quota vs ASB 2. Hard truth |

It does look that way at the moment but there is a definite trend towards geographical diversification and that has to be a good thing.“ To date, its overseas investment constitutes 16% of its portfolio, while the remaining 84% is invested in the local market.” |

From their most recent ASM2 2021 AR, foreign equity is about 22.2% of their NAV, so maybe in a year or two they will reach 30%, close to EPF's level.“ To date, its overseas investment constitutes 16% of its portfolio, while the remaining 84% is invested in the local market.” |
