These people dunno the power of compounding...
Gold only has capital gains, and jewellery resale value is -20% of the cost.
Worst thing they buy 18K or lower gold jewellery, lagi no value in appreciation.

Pure gold is notated as 24K (999) – this is the highest karat level for gold meaning it is 100% pure gold.
22K (916) gold is 91.6% purity level
18K (750) gold is 75% purity level,
14K is 58.3% purity level, and
10K is 41.7% purity level.

As you can see, the higher the karat number, the more pure gold comprises the metal.

that's why ASB is created to "enrich" the poor Malays, but somehow didn't teach them about basic financial literacy like compounding .

Give a them tool but never teach them to use it properly
