I have RM100k 4.13% 6 months FD maturing in July. Would it be smart to withdraw all and place into ASM? If withdraw now I think no interest from Jan to April. I’m afraid if wait till maturity ASM already hard to buy 😅

May I know whether 300k Limit means cumulative limit for all 3 ASMs or for each ASM?

Also, if I made a topup for ASM1 today 1 SEPT 2023 and withdraw it say on 1 OCT 2023, it shall be entitled for divident calculation for 1 month interest paid out on 1 APR 2024 right?

I've had ASM3 for 14 years now (my aunt lined up at the bank for me back then) and was always under the impression that it was close to impossible to get more units.

Just wanted to thank ya'll sifus here for pointing out that it's doable after 2am. I managed to get a bunch on ASM1 (myASNB) and ASM3 (m2u) at 3.30am 

I tried several times on ASM1 but failed, so I tried on ASM3 and got it. Then tried again on ASM1 and got it too... But... I actually wanted ASM1  Better than nothing I guess. I read on myASNB that I have to go to their branch to switch. Anyone tried switching?

And now that I found out how to get it, I am tempted to move my FD funds to ASMx since it can be withdrawn anytime. You sifus think it's a good idea?

If the penamaan is free, then how about the process of claims from benefeciary?

It seems that they charge some % of Admin Fee ranging from 1.5% to 0.5% depending on balance amount in the units. If like this, wouldn't it eat into the % of interest accumulated all these while? Can someone clarify this and what is the better way to curb this. Thank you.

5% of value of total estate is very high. I think better don't do wills. Go to pusaka kecil is only 0.2% or Amanah Raya 2%.

some update for my friend case. Her deceased father unit in ASB and ASM are transferred to her mom account. w/o extra charges or processing fees, and done within one month.

not for me. i did it during one of their promo where you deposit a certain amount and they'll waive the fee. they have this kind of waiver every once in awhile.
