Nothing is impossible. You will have to rely on the person who does the transaction for you to be careless enough not to do any verification.

If everyone does their job with full responsibility, it is perfectly safe. Unit owner also have to do their part.

If cheated before death, nothing much can be done. It'll be he says she says.

All one needs to do is bring her to the bank to transfer or sell, or online.

If have access to her maybank2me, can check under Wealth section

Otherwise, I think you need letter of administration or Will to get ASN or banks to help check balance or any recent transactions.

When people sell their units, ASN can retain or sell them.

It's very rare to get $30k a pop. That's the limit imposed per transaction, not sure by ASN or FPX. didn't bother to check.

Ask you. If someone you know offer you 28888.88 ASM 2 at cost (no commission etc), will you take it? Or will you reserve your fund for ASM 1?

Just assume that you trust that person. Question is to know if you will grab an easy ASM 2 or difficult ASM 1.
