if your children is under 18, u can take out anytime. but tranfer unit to your own acct, i dun think can.

This morning berlambak ASM1 & ASM2 units available until I hit my quota. Looks like people are spooked now.

Cannot deposit and then withdraw on the same day.

I mean, you have no choice, the system won't let you withdraw.

As for transfer... This only can be done in ASNB office... Need to fill up form....

From my understanding.... IC is needed for verification purposes.... So you need to be there too... Fill up transfer form. Got some fee need to paid too....

Previously all these can be done online, but some people go abuse them... Either selling off their units at premium & have cases of illegal transfer of old folk units holdings by their children or grandchildren.....

Sure even better.... Cheaper too... Because it's not based on total amount balance percentage....

But you need to confirm with respective ASNB office first....

My brother informed me yesterday the ASM units from my late father was transferred to his account. And it was done in 2 weeks.
He will see ASM next week to check how my portion can be transferred to me. If it’s problematic, then may consider selling all the units and then distribute the cash. If I cannot get sufficient units then the next option is put into EPF.

Depends. PA would be faster as it does not require Letter of Administration or Grant of Probate.

Different people different priorities. Some may prefer their dependents get the money asap without much hassle.

The transfer of units from my brother’s account to my ASM account was effected through Maybank n I think credited instantly. I just furnish him copies of my IC and birth certificate to prove we are siblings.
