If have Pengisytiharan Amanah, then the claim process is like 30 days. No need to wait for court order. Just like EPF nomination. Faster process.
If using Will, then have to wait for LA or GP document.

Remember one LYN forumer mention, the ASNB office got Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, dunno is Jln Tun Razak or Shah Alam branch. Maybe you can call ASNB office to find out, RMCO might have diff working hour.

If I gg, beneficiary can claim the money within a month. Should be enough to cover living cost ....

happen in 2017. I know this from my ex-col. Her husband got do Will, no PA.

She manage to receive unit via transfer to her ASNB account. The officer said, if no account, give cash. Got account, can take cash or unit. So, she choose unit transfer.

I not sure how things works in the future.

Just sharing what I know. This is what my ex-col tell me in 2017.
if Probate/LA + beneficiary got ASNB account, then can choose take cash or unit transfer.
if Probate/LA + beneficiary no ASNB account, then take cash.

i personally no do ASNB PA, i go for Will. EPF and insurance nominate, my beneficiary can take out within 1 month and should be enough for living cost. So, others asset can slow slow wait for Probate/LA.

Yes different ppl different plan, have to plan according to your situation.

What cost? Is it ASNB unit transfer cost? Maybe my ex-col still moody that time, not really see how much been deducted. She said minor fees only.

yearly rm10 deduct from one of the fund.

Please let the fisherman here know when you are withdrawing. At least they can standby to fish like RM500 ~ RM5K.

both need to go to ASNB once. The neighbor need to update his data. After that, can do offline transfer.

next transaction, the neighbor no need go. you can do it alone at the ASNB office.
