Wanna ask, selling of units can only happen during weekdays right? I see that the online buying is possible during weekend, but if no one is selling, then no point trying to buy during weekend as well.

Long time didn't login my account, just now logged in to try my luck but saw this notification instead. Is it now time for dividend? But under the transaction history, didn't see the amount credited into my account hmm.gif hmm.gif

" The ASM2 Wawasan 2019 dividend RMxxxx has been credited into your account "

you're doing it right. try 10x, blocked for 5 mins. try another fund, repeat.

Example :
1. Try ASM1 10x (don't try too fast)
2. receive blocked 5 mins notice
3. try ASM2 10x
4. receive blocked 5 mins notice
5. try ASM3 10x
6. receive blocked 5 mins notice
7. Wait until 5 mins from ASM1 is up.
8. Repeat from Step 1.

Thanks for the tips. Normally click which amount got higher chance? I guess smaller amount will be easier to get ya?

Any error show up at your respective FPX banking page?
I got experience money was deducted from bank account but units were not added. However, I did see error appeared at the FPX banking page and contacted the bank and the money was then refunded to me. Not sure if this is the same case as yours or not.

my fpx was successful but the error i think was at the handshake from the bank to asb, as it was showing that waiting for bank to confirm.

anyway if no reply from asb by tomorrow then will contact the bank

For non-bumi PA is better cos the ASx units will be transfered to your nominees instead of being liquidated n get cash. Especially nominees who r not investment savvy.

I see, PA meaning this one right?

Yes pengisytiharan amanah. Note there is a fee for this transfer when PA is executed.
*
Yes noticed that too. But based on the Q&A, the fee is still lower than the legal fee to execute a normal will, which is 5%. May I know if anyone is familiar with this? Is the 5% really market standard or it's just a max cap where in practice normally it's much lower?

Thanks

Thanks for the history. I have a few k units (only) in ASW2020 and my father used to help me updating the book every year for the dividend by going to the nearby post office. Few years ago he told me that he's not allowed to do it anymore. I didn't pursue further at that time as it's was only small amount and there's no in/out transactions. Now I know what's the reason.

ya steady guys and let's focus on the topic instead of personal

as a genuine long term "investor" for future saving, i also hope that everyone will have the fair chance but this is not a perfect world. so just let let nature take its course and we just focus on what we can do, i.e. clicking on myasn more frequently smile.gif

would like to see some opinions here.

currently i have only some savings in EPF, SSPN, KDI, and ASM.

and recently since it's quite easy to get ASM units, should I take some out from KDI/SSPN into ASM?

thanks in advance

edit: it's more for long term saving

Long term always go for ASM. KDI is only for short term.

And it's not easy to get ASM units
*
thanks for the reply. so maybe will take out some from KDI into ASM.

i see in the previous posts, seems still can get if willing to wake up early in the morning like 2am or 5am sweat.gif sweat.gif

btw for ASM, if i understand it correctly, i can also withdraw it at any time if needed right? it's just that I might waste 1 month of dividend since it's calculated on monthly basis?

Good to see some still have faith with ASM for long term

Hi, can share some "clues" on some options other than ASM? preferably something that simple to deal with as i'm not very familiar with all these financial stuff (now know only the ASM, KDI, SSPN on top of EPF) tongue.gif

thanks in advance
