QUOTE(MattSally @ Dec 30 2020, 10:30 PM) I am not sure I would bet on a v shaped recovery but I do think there will be a modest recovery. Vaccine rollout is happening quite quickly on a global basis, airlines are looking to ramp up much of their postponed services to protect their market share and in anticipation of global travel opening up again with proof of vaccination and markets do look to have made a solid recovery. My view is that dividend below 4% will be at least 2 years. So, it therefore comes down to the fund managers. Provided they do just a half decent job I think (ok, hope) that next year could see ASB back to 5% or thereabouts plus a bonus and hopefully 6% the following year. But, for this year, we are planning our finances on 3.5% from ASM accounts. Anything better has to be regarded as a good outcome I think. Too much uncertainty and next year we can see how vaccines do its job to slow down the spread and eventually put a stop to it. I'm still grateful as long it's over the FD rate haha |

What is the dividend for ASM this year?
I can tolerate between 3-4%. More than 4% is definitely bonus. |

Yesterday 12pm onwards have some ASM units on sale Successfully top up 1k X 2 , 3k X 1 total 5k. Thanks to those selling. Next year my humble guess ASM could be 4.5%. One word of advice , don't need but bundle promo. It's not hard to get units nexona88 liked this post

Got RM1k ASM3 today.
Btw just asking , one lump sum withdrawal from ASM , ASM2 and ASM3 accounts (6 digit figures) is still allowed? Can be done only at banks or PNB branch? |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Jun 9 2021, 02:21 PM) Should be non issues... You mean like maybank saving accounts? But prepared for answer the staff multiple questions 😝 Personally... Agents bank better. Can direct dump into CASA 👍 Cash, then little hard... Because they don't really have that much stocks available ☺️ QUOTE(ginateo99 @ Jun 9 2021, 02:21 PM) It’s your own money. Nobody can stop you from withdrawing 6 or 7 figures. However you will be asked to declare to BNM as per AMLA 2001 I see. Do they need approval then only release fund ? |

ASM given higher dividend. ASM2/3 should be 3.85% - 4%.

Very hard to get units recently. Just got RM1k ASM this afternoon. Hopefully next year ASM will give better dividend since i have greater weightage compared to ASM2/3.

QUOTE(MattSally @ Jul 13 2021, 12:51 PM) We may be making a substantial withdrawal from ASM2 ASM3 in the coming months. I'll advise if we are going to do it so that you know units will/should become available. Please pm. I can tolerate between 3.5% dividend and above. Long term prospect will average down the returns. |
