the fact that they are also opening ASB3 at the same time, Bumi will defo aim to maximise ASB3 instead

logically if we were eligible we will also focus on the one that consistantly paying better %, common sense

so that's why I said they are smart to open ASM instead of the other otherwise it will be taking longer for it to be fully subscribed

and RM600k is something astronomical for MAJORITY, just look at 2024 AR on breakdown of unitholder (somehow this data gone from 2025 AR for ASM)

Ttey won't open ASM 3 for such big amount.... Maybe around 500mil or 1bil like that only.... Because the fund got racial quota.... So cannot achieve 100% take up rates....

So it's natural selection they pick ASM 1 which don't have any racial quota imposed.... So take up rates confirm 100% 💪💵🤑

Hi. I tried to opened a ASNB account for my kid in Maybank. The teller opened an account for me but told me that she is unable to get any units. She tried ASM 1 and told me she cannot try any other funds as can only choose 1 over the counter. She mentioned that if could not deposit any funds within a certain period, the account will be closed as well.

I thought it will be linked to my account and that i could try to purchase via the app. But she said that can only deposit over the counter for new account.

Has anyone opened a kids account before and is in this situation?

why not try buying minimum amount of VP to fully open the account, then can buy from app in the future.
