All hoping for 7% or 8% dividend rates yo....

And we all here just hoping around 5.5 to 6 only 😁

Logically speaking...

With the size of ASB1... Kinda hard to swing higher... And with it's very high liquidity nature (compared with ASM which majority keep until died - don't want to withdraw)....

Yeah... All fixed price funds growing....

But the single biggest is always ASB1 for years to come 🔥💪

Remember the investment concepts..... The bigger the fund size, the harder to generate high income.... Next next best example is EPF Conv & Sh... One big one smaller...

Remember what happens to EPF fiasco earlier of the year??

All so called analyst saying higher dividend rates....

BUT in the end... Still higher but not as high expected 😔

The 5.4% including bonus 😁

But if indeed 5.5%
Then many would be very happy

Maybe got make some investment "write down" somewhere... So in the end...

Effect on the dividend rates overall 😁

Previously the bonus is based on first 10k only... Later increase to first 30k

Now seems all balance get that bonus 🙏

And what I know
The bonus is from parent PNB while that 5.5% is from purely fund performance

Cannot find any information about that part...

Which is which the income comes from...

I saw that as actually being a good point. The 5.5% would appear to reflect fund performance whereas the 0.25% bonus is what PNB decided to give on top. This year, fund performance was so improved that a large bonus was not considered 'necessary.' It might, therefore, be a modest opportunity to restock fund reserves.

Maybe repeat of previous ASM 3 announcement.... After 1 week...  dividend paid & credited into unit holders account... ASNB release new Updated announcement on top of original one 😔

Around 2bil units nett sold +/-  (after deduct dividend payout & existing units being cancelled - withdraw by unit holders)...

Basically ASNB got 2bil $$$$ to be invested....

How much they actually can offer..??? Unless they're digging into the unsold bumi quota units....
