really disappointed, tried to sell back asm3, all asnb transaction offline for all banks, only can do it in Pnb but again they only allow rm20k cash any bigger amount they need 1 - 3 days for transferring to your a/c.
And I thought selling is easy, now terbalik!

1st time using bank, pnb is not is not a bank that's why need 1-3 days tx.

Last year I had rm60k self contribution to kwsp. This year probably not anymore after seeing how they plan to use RM1.5b from khazanah/kwsp for i duuno what startups.

What'd you expect? He is still the same guy as he was 25-30 years back albeit with different branding. Change in branding but still the same $h1t. I'd prefer Ah Fook instead.

I have no insider views at all. But ASM1 always seems to do about 0-25% to 0.75% better than ASM2 ASM3 so the first year 'should' more than recover any transfer losses and I need somewhere to park funds until I can invest in what I want in UK/offshore. I could move funds to UK now but I can't even get close to 3.7% in UK unless I tie in for longer than I wish. The only things that may persuade me to move earlier is the exchange rate - which I am watching carefully and UK base rates which may drive up UK deposit rates and affect the exchange rate. And, of course, there is always the outside chance of some good dividend news from ASNB.

In that regard. March is a busy and important month:

9/3/23  BNM OPR rate review.
16/3/23  ECB rate review.
22/3/23 USA rate review.
23/3/23 UK rate review.

I have a feeling BNM will not raise OPR this March

I suspect this sets the tone for modest dividends plus a decent bonus on the first 30k to 50k or thereabouts. A very strange way to proceed if this is the case as it penalises the bigger investors. Everywhere else that I am aware of gives higher rates the more you invest.
