Hey guys, first time parent here. Anyone can recommend a good paediatrician / GP around Subang Jaya area? And how do you define a good paediatrician?

Another question is do you guys take your newborn to GP like Mediviron if he/she is just having a light flu or cough? Or straight to those specialist paediatrician?

1. Usually I will go to KPJ Selangor, Prof. Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Ismail . From his title I know he's very good. Haha so that's how I define whether someone is good or not. biggrin.gif

2. If baby having fever, flu, cough (normal sickness, within 3 days), I never bring them to any GP/clinics, my wife will taking care of the kids, and will breastfeed more. Unless the condition is worse, for example fever > 39c, flu > 3days, I go to GP first, if doctor say need to refer specialist, then I will go to hospital immediately.

How's your experience with them treating your baby?

Thanks for your reply. But don't you have to wait for very long at KPJ? How's the damage like?

You mean wait for the treatment in emergency or see the specialist? If you wanna consult with the specialist, it doesn't take long time.
Damage sweat.gif I forgot the total bill, but am sure the charge for consultation is quite expensive. You jumpa prof datuk dr kot. Haha!
Later I check again the bill, and I will get back to you on this. Syukur company cover, that's why do not bother about the bill.
