Weird experience with seating at TGV, Booked top row but assigned middle seats

So yesterday I went to TGV @ Gurney Paragon Penang to watch Ford vs Ferrari (great movie), but I booked twin seat top row on their website, after that the ticket said K13, K14 so I went into the IMAX hall and K13,14 are not the top row seats at all, the top row is row M.
Anyone experienced this before? I don’t usually go TGV, do you have to be VIP to be able to actually book top row? Or their system got problem?

Not as weird as GSC. I bought a End game ticket on a bench seat.. To my surprize a pretty OL share the same bench with me,, initially i though i was on the wrong seat. More weird is during the movie, both of us stick close to each corner leaving big gap in the middle. Cold right but true story.

For Imax, inbetween middle to top is best.
So K seating should be good viewing angle.

I like TGV as they have no rules for single seating arrangement. No 2-seat spacing BS.

However after the movie I looked behind me and some of the top row seats were empty so that left me even more confused |

So top row of Imax is not the top row of the entire hall. It is just the top row of that Imax section |
