I'm not sure if RCS messaging is available locally. My sms app is the stock google Message app. I'm having a problem of verifying in the Chat menu, similar to this.

An old 2017 news say celcom support such function.

Anyone got it working? hmm.gif

I suppose by now, RCS is activated globally through Google Messages, wonder why Celcom is still hesitant to embrace it, though they're the ones who claim to be the first to support RCS at first place

Wait LMAO OP, what are you saying. I don't think Telco ever mattered in this part of SEA. All our devices are not telco bounded. It's all UNLOCKED phones.
Digi, Celcom, Maxis, UMobile are just SIM Service provider. We don't have "Mobile Carriers" like in the US.

Anyways, like to add that my Galaxy S10 Unlocked is working with Samsung's OneUI version of Google Messages. I have RCS enabled. Often chat with other pals.
My other friend uses a Pixel 4XL with Google Messages baked in + RCS works too.
FYI I have Maxis but it doesn't MATTER, OP like I said. My friend's Pixel is on Unifi.

AFAIK only Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixels line of phones work with RCS messages in Malaysia as of now. Possibly OnePlus as well.

Can confirm that my previous phone, Poco F3 able to use RCS with Yoodo line (a Celcom sub-brand). Same for my Pixel 6 as well.
