While I don't know of any classes, I remember when I was young I would get those 'how to draw manga' books from book stores and also read those short manga tutorials found in comic magazine (in Gempak).

Personally I would say just let your kid draw anything she likes and may provide her with reference materials that she likes. Most importantly I feel is keep growing her interest if this is what truly interests her.
