Somebody please help me to solve my problem. I just got myself a new set of 8 channel 5mp HikVision 7200 series cctv set from lazada and hoping to save money instead of asking cctv supplier to cover everything. Now l am having a new problem,8 wires have been installed in appropriate location with camera attached on. 2TB hard disk already attached to dvr. When l try to connect to my new monitor Acer K202HQL (vga), the word "input not supported" occur on screen. Somebody pls advice me how to solve this problem without have to spend extra money on HDMI monitor. Appreciate your efforts. Have a good day.

The DVR/NVR will be set to 1280 x 1024 out of the box. If the resolution has been changed inthe display settings to a resolution higher or lower you will need to use an HDMI or VGA cable to connect to a TV or monitor that supports the resolution.

Googled answer above.
