may i know the iso of the pic taken... is a well taken i can say.

normally the picture has a subject. from my point of view the girls seems to be the secondary subject. The droplet or splashes of water is the main subject or is it the pipes. As we can see the focus is more on the pipes or water.

Btw what kind of camera are you using?

d50, iso 200, 50mm f1.8 lens...
shutter more than 1/1600...
hehehe...

btw,i'm using 50mm 1.8 to shot ..

for a moment i thought it was all about the gal .. then looking back, it's about the droplets of water .. i am still new to photography .. reading a bit here and there to pick up a bit ..

i want to shot what's the girl doing ...btw, this is one of the weakness of 50mm ...

increase ur F/number...
then u can see both water and girl...
but you can't freeze the water if the shutter too low...

u use auto focus?

i dont think use auto focus..the water droplet is cool..like it..nway, what was she washing actually

as Henry said, increase your F/number and ask the girl come back and take another shot hehe

anyway, if i increase the f number the background will not blur like this ..

then your thread title should be Flowing Water. and not high school girl since you already emphasizing on the water flow

The first one would be the best. The second one had the rock blocking and the last one had the pipe in the way.
