Astro 4K will be launching at 13 November 2019. have a cloud for recording program. no need stb pvr for saved program. only need minimum 10Mbps wifi for interactive service. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Actually what interest me is what they will do the existing AstroGo users when they launch this product.

Will they block AstroGo to be streamed to other devices other than the Astro "certified" boxes ( using a scheme similar to netflix ) ?

if u want play aotg, just used box no rooted. i play aotg with tx6 very smooth. no google certified. aotg can't mirroring

I am not talking about existing. I am talking about after they launched their own box, they will do tricks on the server side, because they then want to promote their own box/package.

think it is similar to SKY Q in UK.... use of STB, 3840x2160 pixels at 50 frames per second.... live sports, VOD movies...

their PVR decorder HDD is shit tier. I just change 1 with HDD failure 3 months ago, now new one rosak lagi

I never had problems with the PVR. Now changing to the Ultra Box, next week installing.

Yes, they say the storage provided is for 600 hours. Or was it 60 hours? 3 months expiry? Can’t remember what Astro says cause keep thinking on buying a good 4K TV, maybe wait for Yearend or Xmas sale.
