Xiaomi finance department was stronger than marketing I guess. They decided money is more important than company reputation.
It's a bit similar to the Sony PS3 incident in 2013. If only they would have given me that PS3 (I never bought PS1 or PS2), I could have bought many games and probably PS4 and games as well. But they decided it was better to save some money in the short term. |
