damn! Anyone got the new laptop from the promotion? It seems they downgrade it ler...T2300 Series...Newspaper display it..Worse specs... T2310 (1.4Ghz, 1Mb, 533Mhz) or T2330 (1.6Ghz,1Mb, 533Mhz) Can anyone verify this? Tomorrow gonna call them...

First batch=hp520(Core Duo T2050)
Second batch=Hp520(Core Duo T2050 or 2300) *if i can recall*
Third batch=Compaq V3665TU(Core Duo T2300)
Current Promo batch=Compaq V3600TU(Pentium Dual Core T2310 or T2330[1.46Ghz or 1.6Ghz with 1mb l2 cache and 533mhz fsb])

Erm..No..Check the newspapers..They sorta downgrade the specs..It comes with T2310[1.4Ghz,1MB,533Mhz](RM149 monthly) and T2330[1.6Ghz,1MB,533MHz](158 monthly). If u guys don't believe i think i could scan the newspaper and upload it here...

2)I don't think so. Currently Edge is only available on DiGi. Other Telco r using 3G technology and i don't think it's locked to DiGi.

But williamngwl, how can u verify this? DiGi's Website states differently though..But it does say T2300 series processor... While the newspaper states the "newer" specifications... Anyone jz ordered recently?

no access fee being charged for the 2 years coz they already included it in the package. Erm it will no be charged on ur bill coz u sorta have alrady made payment for it. I can confirm with u ler..Lucky i bought it b4 they change the specs..It actually depends on how u see it. The T2330 is actually a new processor being released in the end of August. Based on the P(p33,p35 and etc..can think as santa rosa) series processor i think but it's using the normal 945 chipset IIRC...I have yet to receive my laptop but most likely it's next week. I though HP send u a email b4 they confirm u're ordering that laptop?

specs should be the same...Jz the laptop design looks different.
Ok, currently, non-upgrade and upgrade back both offer 2 different type of processors. It depends on which package u are taking. Maybe u should call HP for more info

V3000 alot of series 1 mah..This model does not come with Built In Bluetooth ..Maybe u can try calling them and ask =/

It depends on which model. V3363TU=Upgrade version with Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.6Ghz,1mb,533Mhz and V3665TU(specs according to HP) 1.4Ghz,1mb,533Mhz. Can anyone help me here? Anyone order their laptop and received it during september? Coz they told me the specs was T2330 instead of T2300 that i order. I'm sure i'm not the only person that saw the Compaq laptop with T2300... Hope someone can help me -.-

Damn smart leh DiGi...Now Asus..But the specs are almost the same..T2330 also ;O...Btw did anyone tried upgrading the ram for the HP520 notebook? I have difficulty in opening the screw for the ram slot.. Maybe can someone help me on how to unscrew that tight screw (it's the screw on the left side of the ram slot)
