QUOTE(iDk @ Dec 12 2008, 01:49 AM) I decided to do it for myself, after i told my parents about this, they kindly shocked for my decision. But anyhow, they still supported me financially. Just that my dad does not really like to talk or hear about it. Where after my did the operation, my mum go around tell the aunties or uncles about it, and my aunties and cousin sister started to ask me about it, as they also want their husband to do it. For me, it kinds of weird as i was 24 that time, and i expected to talk about this with my dad, but it happened the other way round. Maybe he have no interest to know about it, as in the whole family and relative, only my cousin (same age as me who recommend me to do it), and i did the circumcision, the rest of the male dont even bother about it. When I was 17 decision to do the circumcision & told my parent. They happy with my decision and during that time I only known my father also circumcised. As my father said don't regret after cut, he always support my decision. Most Important you plan for your son & listen to your son when they decision to do circumcision. After did it, just enjoy it. hi guys. i just had circumcision 3 weeks ago and nearly all the stitches are off. however, when i have an erection, i feel that i cannot get to maximum length because the stitching scars are a bit tight. is that normal?

I'd give some time for all the stitches to come off. If it still feels tight after that, then they might have cut off a little too much of your foreskin - you can solve that by stretching what's left (later on)

after circumcised ur scar should form a circle around ur penis. everybody circumcised will have it. when erect do you feel pain than it was to tight meaning cut to much skin. if no pain it should be ok. ur penis will look slightly shorter than before cut. is normal.

QUOTE(alip5225 @ Dec 12 2008, 07:55 AM) you did the right thing bro.. There is not right or wrong with circumcision. Don't be influenced by US culture or religion ceremonies. There are no proven health benefit of circumcised or non circumcised penis. Each has it's own pros and cons. You can do it if you want but it's just a matter of preference. A lot of people did not circumsized and can still have healthy sex life. Hehe..I remember there is an episode in Bullshit! that talks about circumcision. Very funny. Even teach you how to put back the foreskin after being circumcised. This post has been edited by abubin: Dec 17 2008, 05:08 PM

Of course, consult your doc. first

Go to a govt hospital or clinic and they will refer you to the proper department, in this case a surgical department. It is a very minor surgery and in a govt hospital it is free for govt servants and their immediate families. The cost of surgery is very minimal in govt hospital even for patients who are not govt servants and it does not require a specialist, a Medical Officer with enough experience can do it. It is a day case and you can go to the hospital in the morning and come back home by evening.
There are benefits of circumcision although there are some inaccurate posts here that say that it holds no benefit. There is a reduced risk of penile cancer among circumcised men compared to those who are not and it is related to the retention of smegma underneath the foreskin. Having said that, penile cancers are rare to begin with and most people who are uncircumsized would not develop penile cancer anyway. Circumcision also helps with hygeine of the penis as well and some claim although not proven with evidence allow you to last longer during intercourse.
Anyway, the choice is individual and sometimes held on religious grounds. So there you have it, weigh the pros and cons and decide!
