 Wall socket with 2-Earth, which to use?

need help, why this wall socket has two earths? which to use?

See the metal strip below? Both terminals are connected. You can connect to either one.

front view.. it does comes with LED
btw.. i took out the cover of course..

Usually doesn't matter if the two earthings are connected to each other. It's just to make it easier for you to do the wiring for tidiness.

To have an earthing intact in case one earthing connection is broken by any unlikely event.
To have as low an earthing resistance as possible.
This is basically to have additional and fail-safe earthing in all eventualities.

so which earth to connect?

would like replace current existing one.. but existing only one earth..

Either one also can. Suggest to connect to the one next to L & N so that the wire doesnt have to do a round the world loop.

The far one is usually used to ground metal clad box/metal piping if you are using such things.

Your new socket has a metal body/frame thats why got two earth connections, so better to connect both
Just use a short piece of earth/green wire to loop it over to the other earth conn.
