band 5 is low frequency signal which penetrate wall better, if you are indoor most likely auto switch to band 5, slow speed.
band 38/40 provide better speed/signal but outdoor mostly.

I live in Kuchai so far so good. umobile 1 bar vs unifi full bar.

Used it on umobile p99 unlimited which has 30gb cap hot spot. Yes really unlimited, but free ones has app cap, means need to relaunch app every now and then, worth getting the paid app.

yes 4g : speed can reach up till 20 Mb/s, streaming utube no problem, even peak hour still going strong

but

when without coverage, your phone completely useless, cant even make a call

to compare with unifi mobile, give iur t a time, peak hour will become same as every telco, other than that, its Unifi, performance worsen over time

just a question:

if let say i put this unifi mobile unlimited in my laptop that has LTE capability, and if i mirror it via chromecast or similar dongle, or using HDMI cable to watch on my big LED tv, will it uses the 10GB HOTSPOT quota or the normal unlimited quota?

i'm eyeing for laptops that has LTE capability such as:

lenovo X1 carbon 7th gen
Asus Swift 7
HP Envy X2

and so on

I was so happy to find out that now Digi congestion at my house no more after cancel Celcom Home BB RM70 plan
Guess what.........Celcom want to take back the modem and i flatly refused it as i say mine is 1st Batch unlocked....i say i pay penalty should be suffice.

Keep saying changing T&C....must give back..
i keep saying let me talk to the Manager in Charge but no want to see me.
Pity the Celcom Customer Counter staff....in out..... see his superior many times..

i loudly say i want to see the Manager or ask for a letter saying otherwise so that i can report to MCMC directly.

Now using the Unlimited Digi RM1 daily...on Celcom B618-22d unlocked.

and stream movie at 720p easily...

Somehow...Digi RM1 performance is as good as Celcom and Unifi at RM30 as compared to RM70 and RM59
