Hi all,

I am using Yes Unlimited 2 Mbps plan. I am having a router connecting to the modem and few computers using LAN cable.

In the past, I am having internet connection unstable in my area. When switch on the modem, the modem light for WIFI and 4G LTE will have either one missing thus making me unable to access to internet.

I have reported to Yes and they asked me to provide them some screenshot ion the modem light and information in the 192.168.1.1. The last resort is went to Yes store o replace a new modem. Then, everything is find.

However, the same problem occur in this week. The officer advised me to hard reset and reconfigure the modem. This include press the reset button on the modem and restart the modem then login to 192.168.1.1 to change the username of the WIFI (it is called SSID). I also forget the old wifi name and connected the new wifi its password. I did it and fine for 3 days.

Today the problem happens again (either the light of WIFI or 4GLTE is missing) and the Power blight is in red color. I login to 192.168.1.1 with my router still on, I noticed that my SSID is being change to default one. However, my computers are showing the new SSID with "Internet accessed" meaning the computer can connect to internet and I should able to browse without problem.

May I know why the SSID change to default and my computer showing the new SSID with connected word but cannot use internet? When changing the SSID information by logging in to 192.168.1.1, should I turn on the router?

Thank you very much.
