same here, i contacted TM, they ask me use back the old app first seems they not even done migration already release by batch

that is year 2018 YEP, free upgrade from 100Mbps to 800Mbps, 50Mbps to 500Mbps, 500 and 800Mbps is not official package open for new subscriber (as for now)
quite a lots of user using 500/800Mbps for one year+ already, paying RM129/189...
some pay RM159 for 800Mbps if i remember correctly, there are people here pay RM149 for 800Mbps or even cheaper (maybe)

if your device infront of your router, yes
if your device far from your router, you might see 5Ghz perform worse than 2.4Ghz
higher frequency get better speed but difficult to penetrate wall etc... and coverage is smaller, unable to travel far
lower frequency get better coverage with better penetration, because travel far, in exchange speed is lower

better watch out on your next bills

actually i make complaint to MCMC on 2018 Sept, stating my bills have two hypptv packages and TM over charge me , (in between must be MCMC deal with TM end up TM call me up and mentioned will refund me RM30 x 10 months - from Dec 2017 to Oct 2018), and reduce my bills -RM30
my hypptv contract ended last year Oct 2019, shall i go downgrade Ultimate RM60 to Ruby RM30

in what situation we need a fan for router? actually previously my AC68U kinda hot also, hand can touch it but it just feels hot, it wont burn our hand
new router will be better right? shouldnt need to put addtinal fan, usually what causes the router become hot? wireless transmission? continuosly braodcast signal? or serving more client?

today morning received a call from 03-79333300, the guy said he is calling from TM, they want give me FREE mesh unit
but i insist i dont want, and after few replies i hang up seems he cannot understand i dont want even is FREE

maybe they found my 500Mbps contract expired... they want me recontract or actually the mesh unit need RM15/month as some forumer mentioned here

the reason i dont want is, i believe the free mesh unit is not wifi 6, my house now full coverage with my Wifi 6 router and I only turn on AX for both 2.4Ghz + 5Ghz, most of my clients all wifi 6 supported, i bet the mesh unit not gonna helps

they dont offer 500Mbps package previously, all subscribers using 500Mbps are from 2018 turbo upgrade, somewhere starting from Aug 2018. Those 500Mbps turbo'ed, only 100Mbps upload, seems no changes, only this newer offering of 500Mbps comes with 200Mbps upload speed

who knows later TM offer 200Mbps upload to existing customer my contract about to end coming Oct, might give a shot contact Live Chat

few ip range i tried, same here, it happens to App Store as well, for update available app
i tired mobile data when connected to maxis/celcom/digi seems fine
