I just "upgraded" my unifi router to deco M4 recently. Anyone knows how to set the DNS in the router?

my connection is currently under PPPoE, not dynamic. can it be changed?

If my PC is linked to a secondary router/access point linked to the main router via Wall Plug, do i configure the 2nd or the main router for IP v6 ?

Included in this campaign, I will be also given a free 42" TV. Wow! He showed me which model and it is this model.

1st to 10th month = RM39
11th month onwards = RM89

100Mbps
1st to 10th month = RM79
11th month onwards = RM129

Yes, I'm all GG. I only have my original TP Link AC1200 with it, and I've also realized that speediest from M9 is not really consistent and stable in comparison with AC1200 or even AX20. Lesson learnt, while I was researching, there were some hope by attaching a switch to M9, but I wasn't sure how does the IPTV / Modem will work with just two port if one has to go the switches.

Good news for those who just ended their 2 years free upgraded promo, initially I planned to switch to maxis RM149, 300mbps,
so visited TM point today to give transfer ID, but being told that for existing customer there is a new package starting today which is

RM139 for 300mbps but without the aneka TV package, just basic TV package.
RM119 for 100mbps also without the TV package

To skip all the hastle I just maintain the RM139, since the router given from Maxis is still C5v.

I m a loyal maxis postpaid for many years, and have been rent unifi wifi service from neighbour for my WFH since mid march till December 2020. Neighbour want long term rental commitment.

Recently, I m Thinking to have own fibre line in January 2021.
Last week, applied both unifi and maxis fibre applications , both got same answer, port is full..  Prefer to have maxis fibre and change  my maxis account to maxis prime one.

If there is an available port, due to turbulence economy, home cancellation,  do you think tm will know the availability port first, and quickly ask you to thumb print + sign 2 years contract, instead of my preferred choice, maxis fibre, no contract.

Unifi 30mbps with TV plus box package rm 149 and neighbour 's uncle and auntie go to bed early 9pm. They hardly use Internet and mostly on weekends / holidays.  Did speed test, upload and download, average 16mbps

Get a power switch timer switch on and on, set modem /router turn on switch from 7am till midnight.

I paid rm450 till December 2020. Monthly = rm50. Month of March = free / did not count.. Shyly..

Quite cheap, stable and no issue WFH.  I got 100gb maxis postpaid quota (1x maxis postpaid 98, 2x supplement lines) .already downgraded from main line maxis 188 since April after got unifi rental. Thinking to downgrade maxis postpaid main line + supplement lines after got own home fibre line.

Yes, you can try call TM 100 since they are blasting sms out to other users, the CS might have already updated with this latest package, unless they don't allow then only you need to make an effort to TM point.
I see.. meaning you will get your bill pro-rated as well. So you just call 100, and they offer you the RM139 package for 300 mbps?

Same in Selangor. Youtube takes about 5 secs to load on both ipv4 and ipv6. Seems to be fine on ipv4. Tried on TIME ipv4 also no problem.

Thats really unfortunate to have neighbours like that lol. Right now 2 houses is paying RM100 for 100Mbps lol. Ill get maybe two more to get 800Mbps completely free lol. I supplied my own drop fiber cable to their houses all through my own lands lol. Since unifi port is all full and even the connection to my house is already 5 poles added in order to be reached.
