Modem need to be from UNiFi... so only Routers can replace, mine bridging because UNiFi provide Modem+Routers (1 piece), so disable the Routers function and set bridge to use external Routers icon_rolleyes.gif

so far known... not yet heard anyone using other modem than original unit. If your modem got issue then just report to them, all time warranty so far I knew icon_rolleyes.gif
